My mom and I just had a huge talk about being gay and religion.

And I just cried. It really breaks my heart how judgmental people can be. They say they’re preaching his word because they “love” us, but they sit there and judge us and make us feel worthless for who we are.
I know where I stand in my life, and I know my God wouldn’t damn someone to hell based on who they fall in love with.
